OPEN-WHEEL ENDURO (11/19/00)
Scott Webb and Scott Wolf finish 4th in Sports 2000 and
7th Overall in the "Open Wheel" 2000 Cal Club Enduro driving
the LA Auto Show/ DriveGear.com Swift DB-2.
Starting from the very back of the grid in 26th place due to a last minute carburetor and tire change, both Scotts ran laps faster than in qualifying to march through the field. Flawless pit stops (executed by the drivers!) and strategy (ran out of fuel on the cool down lap!), coupled with careful driving saw them challenge other Sports 2000 cars thought to be untouchable earlier in the weekend. Excellent car preparation kept the Swift strong throughout the entire 1.5 hour race, enabling both drivers to push hard to the end.

ENDURO (11/19/00)
Scott also finished 4th in ITA driving a Toyota Corolla
GT-S in the 3-hour "Closed Wheel" 2000 Cal Club Enduro later
that same day. The car is owned by Ryan Flaherty of Open Track, and was
co-driven by Paul Goduti (the car's original owner) and Rod Turner.
Despite a late race altercation with a poorly-driven Spec RX-7, resulting in damage to the LF suspension, the team soldiered on to finish 16th overall in the 59-car field. Again, excellent pit work and drivers kind to the equipment enabled us to finish as well as we did.
